LOCAL AND GENERAL 6 The parade of tho first section of the 2lst Reinforcements in Wellington, fixed originally for to-day, has been postponed, and no now date has • yet been announced. It is probable that the parade s of the second section, which was to have taken place on Thursday, will also be postponed. The Executive Council is to meet today, and the matters to l>o considered will include the schemo for the financial relief of soldiers, both volunteers and comptilsorily enlisted men. Regulations in connection with this scheme have bean drafted, and are expected to ho published in the near future. The annual conference of ' Native school teachers will bo held in Auckland this week.
