A nor'-wester, with that "flattening-out" feel about the atmosphere that makes people with jumpy corns commit themselves to gloomy predictions about jtlio weather "drawing to rain," visited" tue city and district yesterday. Present indications, according to tho Meteorological Department, are for westerly to southerly windv , strong to gale, and squally, cbangeablo weather, with heavy showers generally. The barometer is duo to rise everywhere soon. *•
