PATRIOTIC HORTICULTURAL SHOW
The, annual horticultural show at Wellington South will bo opened at 3 p.m. on Wednesday next, and also in tho evening, and again on Thursday ovening. Tho proceeds this year will bo devoted to the St. John Ambulance Red Cross Fund and the Camp Institute Fund. . Tho schedulo is a comprehensive one, and provides for all flowers, plants, vegetables an'd fruit with special prizes in several sections. Children's classes provide for girls and' boys in flowers, plants, peggy-bags,woodware, meccano and khptiko modols. Home sections includes scones, cakes, ■ and knitted socks. All entries should be in tho hands of the secretaries by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, and late entries Up to 9 o'clock on Tuesday morning. Opportunity is offered to all to help "our wounded soldiers by their attendance or exhibits. _ Tho South Wellington Orchestra kindly provides music for Wednesdav evening, and the Tramway Band for Thursday ovening.
