Sir "William Irvine, K. 0., and an oxFederal Minister, discussing the question of representation at tho Imperial Conference, says the conference is the most important constitutional development since tho grant of Responsible Government, and the invitation is one which Australia, least of all tho Dcmiions, can afford to decline "If wo allow political party differences to paralyso onr actions, wo will go far to rod firm the ivorsfc construction that has been placed on tho recent referendum vote. Unless wo aro prepard to accept the lowest position in tho family of the Imperial Dominions, we must put aside evory other consideration and take the place that belongs to us."— Press Association.
