WAR OF MURDER AND RAPINE (Rec. January 9, 5.5 p.m.) Caloutta, January 8. Verdict was given on seventeen prisoners _ concerned in. tho second Lahore conspiracy case. Sis received death sentences, fivo imprisonment for life, . one was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, and five were discharged. Tho judgment stated; "The evidenco proved the complicity of German consular agents in America. We aro fully satisfied that the United States is the chief centre, of the Ghuda movement to overthrow the British Empire in India. It was planned there.
