WATERSIDERS MEET

In the waiting-room in ,the Harbour Board's X shed a meeting of some 1200 members of the Waterside Workers', Union was held last evening, the meeting being presided over by Mr. F. Curtice. The report of-the delegates -who recently attended the Waterside Workers' Conference in Auckland was received and. adopted. The proposals re the new wages, etc., were read and adopted by the moetiug. The delegates who attended the Auckland Conference and also Messrs. J. Franklin and W. Gray were appointed to meet the employers in connection with the drawing out of a new agreement.
