APPROACHING FOCSANI ENEMY COMMUNIQUE. London, January 2. A wireless official message from Germany, regarding operations in Rumania, states: —Wβ stormed several hill positions in Oitoz yalley. MackonsQU forced the Russians to retreat further, and is sharply pursuing and defeating the reargard. The Austro-Germans are approaching Foceani, and the Fundens bridgehead positions. Wβ took 1300 prisoners. The nation is resolute and confident, the politicians have closed up their ranks, dropped, party' politics, and all are supporting the CcialSTon Government, except an insignificant minority.—"The Times."
