DOMINION ASSOCIATION'S BIG TOUIINEY. Great interest is being taken in Lho Dominion Bowling Association's big tournament which is to bo held in AVcilington for the lirsb time next month. Bowlers are reminded that the entries i'or all fixtures closo on Monday next, December 18, and already a fair number have been received from far and near by tho secretary (Mr. J. J. Roberts). Tho tournament will commence with the pairs contest on January 8; the singles section piay will begin on January 0, and tho linals <>l tho pairs and singles will be played on January 10. Section play in the rink competition will tako place on January 11, 12, and 13, and tho finals will bo played on January 15 and 16. During tournament week it has been decided to hold a grand electric light bowls tourney and promenado concert for patriotic purposes on tho AVellington Club's green. Handsome prizes are becontributed for this occasion by citizens, and it is hoped that all bowlers will do their best to outer. Tho promenade concert will be given under tho direction of Mr. E. J. Hill, who is obtaining tho very best of available talent. T'bero will bo a charge lor admission to tho green, and all the money received in that way and from entries will ho devoted to patriotic purposes.
