COMMANDEERED CHEESE AND SHEEPSKINS. (Rec. December 13, 6 p.m.) London, December 12. i Mr. Massey and Sir Joseph Ward will Tesume negotiations.with Mr. AV. H. Long (Secretary of State for the Colonies) to-morrow, with reference to readjusting tho additional payment for the commandeered cheese. There also remains the question of the sheepskins to be settled.. Mr. Massey hopes to leave for Vancouver in January — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. HIGHLANDERS GRATEFUL TO NEW ZEALAND. (Rec. December. 13, 7.15 p.m.) London, December 12. A deputation from the Highland Land League asked Mr. Massey to thank the New Zealanders for' contributing to tho relief funds of distressed people in tho Highlands and islands of Scotland.—Aus.-N.Z.
