MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL

The Makara County Council met on Friday. There were present Councillors J. H. Haggerty (chairman), H. J. Monaghan, A. J. Taylor, S. B. Mexted, S. Bryant, and G. Monk. It was resolved: —"That the deviation of the stream at the head of the Ngahauranga. Gorge Road be not proceeded with, and that concrete culverts be constructed in place of the present wooden structures." \lt was decided to buy a certain piledriving plant, if it is considered suitable. Roadman Washington was appointedforeman of works. The resignation of the ranger was , received and accepted.
