Miss Helen-I 1 .- Barnes, National Secretary of the, Young Women's Christian Association for Australasia, will be the leader of the N.Z. Summer Conference to be held early in January at Christchurch. Delegates wril bo present from all parts of the Dominion where the- Y.W.O.A. is organised. The final practices of tho Y.W.O.A. Lyrio Club are being devoted to Christmas Carols. The big Christmas service will-- : be held' on; Sunday, December 17, followed by an invitation tea to all girl. members - and friends, given by the:members-of the Board of Directors. Some male voices have been added, to the choir, and girls -with voices are invited to join- tho carol practices in preparation for Christmas services and concerts. The practices are held in the club-rooms on Monday evenirigs at 8. '' v "■' •
