A summary of War Loan Certificates sold to November 23 is as under:— Auckland, £140,481; Blenheim, £19,217 125.; Chnstchurch, £155,300; Dunedin, £154,080 Bs.; Gisborne, £21,637 Vs • (Jreymontli, £17,980; Hokitika, £8,341 125.; Invercargill, £61321 45.; Napier, £59,079 45.; Nelson, £36,039; New Plymouth, £48,417 125.; Oamnru, £15.941125.; Thames, £16,728; Timaru, £41,030 Bs.; Wangaiiui, £52,848 165.; Wellington, £265,072 65.; Wosi-port, £11,780 12s. Total, £1,125,311 18s. Certificates aro steadily selling; £11,000 worth were sold'last week, Wellington leading easily with £5198. Next in order are: Auckland £1532, Dunedin £14.14, and Christcliurch £826. The free custody scheme, by the Post Ofiico lias been largely availed of, no less than £343,117 worth of certificates having already been deposited.
