GERMAN PROWLERS OFF LOWESTOFT
AN ARMED TRAWLER REPORTED MISSING (Aurt.—N.Z. Cable Assn. and; Eeuter.) London, November 28. The Press Bureau issues a Berlin official message claiming that German naval forces have again been in proximity to the British coast, and sank a British watching vessel near Lowestoft, captured the crew, searched neutral_ steamers, and returned without j.having been in contact with the enemy. The British Admiralty announces that the armed trawler Narval is missing, and is presumably the vessel mentioned. "Nd PROOF" ADMIRALTY REPORT ON BRITANNIC AND BRAEMAR. (Aust—N.Z. Cable Assn. and Kcuter.) ' London, November 28. The Admiralty reports that it has received no proof whether the Britannic and Braemar Castlo were mined or torpedoed. The Vice-Admiral of the Eastern Mediterranean Elect reports' that the behaviour of tho Britannic's crew was exemplary. Captain Bart-' lett was the last to leave tho ship, and was ninety minutes in tho water before he was picked up. AMERICAN STEAMER SUNK OFF IRISH COAST Australian-is r ew Zealand Cable 'Association. Washington, November 28. The American steamer Chemung, 2615 tons, has been sunk off the>lrish coast. The survivors were landed.
