EXCITEMENT IN WALES. Australian-New Zealand Cnble Association, London, November 26. There is some excitement in South Wales regarding the Pacifists' Conference at Merthyr oil December 9. As the outcome of the breaking; up of the conference at Cardiff, it is stated that the pacifists have engaged_ 250 lusty stewards. The Rhondda miners have warned Mr. Winstone that the pacifists' meeting will not ho tolerated and have asked Mr. C. B. Stainton (M.P. for Merthyr Tydvil) to request Sir Herbert Samuel (Home Secretary) to prohibit the proceedings.
