SYDNEY BOAT. ( Cable advice from Sydney received on Saturday morning stated that the Riverina—this week's Sydney boat—left Sydney at 10 o'clock on Friday evening, and is dco hero' to-morrow. The Riverina has 190 passengers and 1700 tons of cargo for Wellington. She docs ont visit Lyttelton this trip, but will wait here until Thursday, when she will sail for Sydney dircct. ATEENIO FROM LONDON. The R.M.S. Athcnic, from London, via "Hobart. arrived at Auckland at 3.30 o'clock , yesterday afternoon. She is due here on Thursday. ITONOWAr DELAYED. A Press Association message from Dua- | edin states that the JEonowai has been de--1 layed on account of rain. She is now due , here to-morrow, and the. Union Company ! advise that she receives Auckland cargo ! only, and will leave at 5 o'clock to-morrow for Napier, Gisborne. and Auckland. OPAWA DUE TO-DAY. Advice has been received that the Opawa* from Liverpool, via- ports, is due here to-day, and berths at No. 2 South King's Wharf; also that the vessel brings ; a large general 'cargo, including transhipments of Swedish cargo ex the»Australia and Norwegian caxgo ex the Atna. ARALEUN FROM MONTREAL. As expected, a Press Association message from Auckland reports the arrival of the Araleun from Montreal, via Panama Canal, at 10.45 a.m. yesterday, a few days before November 29. the date previously ad-vised.- The Araleun should get here about tho end of this weok on early next week from the northern port. SAILERS' MOVEMENTS. The barque Raupo (ex Louisa Craig) is expccted to come out of dock at Lyttelton to-morrow, and there is a probability that6he will load for Auckland, but this is not yet sure. A chocolate-coloured barque, probably the Golden Gate, which was towed out of port last Tuesday by the Terawhiti, was reported as having been seen by tho Kaitoa on Friday. She was probably blovrn back by the strong winds prevailing last week. The Golden Gate is now on her way to Melbourne. The Scales baraue Rons, is expected to reach Dunedin about the middle of December from 'Frisco with a cargo of case oil. The barquentine Andy Mahon.v is now 100 days out from San Francisco, with a cargo of case oil and timber, am* Js due at. '-Auckland. The Americn schooner C. S. Holmes left Seattle (Washington) on November 21, and is due at Wellington in January. The movements of tho small Wallsend have been in doubt for some time owing to. the coal strike in Australia, but according to the "Herald" she is now. loading 180,000 feet of timber at that nort for Sydney, and is expected to leave for the Australian port on Wednesday. At the last meetinp of the Westport Harbour Board the chairman mentioned that Westport missed the chance of bunkering a foreign-going vessel owing lo there being no information regarding the port of Westport at Auckland. Port charts are to bo widely circulated, in future. The R.M.S. Niagara is expected at Auckland from Sj-dney this morning. The Corinna arrived in port yesterday morning from New Plymouth, and has 17,500 boxes of butter and 45C0 crates of cheese to discharge.
