BEOOKE-TAYLOR.-On 16th September, 1916, killed in action in France, Corporal Horace Reydon Brooke-Taylor, tliiid son of Alexander and Margaret Brooke-Taylor, Hastings, Hawko's Bay, aged 23 years. HOLMES.—On October 3rd, of wounds received in France on October Ist, 1916, Sergeant Walter Anderson, 2nd 'Wellington Infantry Battalion, 2nd Wei. ling-ton Infantry Keginient, younger Bon of Francis and Annie Holmes, 66 Murphy Street, Wellington, aged 23 years. "Dulco et decorum est pro patria mori."
