THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high west to south-ircsterly -winds. Weather clondy and unsettled, with rain following generally. The barometer has a falling tendency at present in the north, but will probably rise everywhere soon. A. westerly storm area has enveloped the Dominion in its influences. Bain has fallen on all the -western districts, but the weather has been warm and dry on the East Coast. Strong northerly to westerly winds have predominated, with low atmospheric pressure in the south. D. 0. BATES. Meteorological Office, Wellington, November 7, 1916. • DISTRICT REPORTS.
