WELLINGTON PRESBYTERY

A meeting of tho Wellington Presbytery was held last night. Tho'llov. .T. Cumniing (Moderator) presided. Reference was mado to the loss by dcatli lately of two elders in congregations in tho Wellington Presbytery— Mr. S. C. G. Downard, of Kolburu, and Mr. J. Reith, of Knandallah. A proposal was made to amend tho regulations adopted for tho control of' Scots College. The new proposal was that any member of the staff dismissed by tlie Principals should havo tho right of appeal to the Board of Governors. It was at length decided after discussion to send the suggested amendment to tlio Board of Governors, with a recommendation that they give it consideration. Correspondence was received from tho Brooklyn congregation and' tho Rev. B. Hudson. Air. Hudson, on account of continued ill-health, had resigned from the charge, but at tho express w.ish of tho congregation ho agreed to withdraw .his resignation, and to accept three months' leavo of absence. This arrangement was confirmed hy tho Prosbytery.
