36} MILES IN 13} HOURS. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. Philadelphia, September 11. Charles Diirborrow created a world's record by a swim in tlio Delaware River of-thirty-six and a half miles in thirteen and a half hours. He swam throughout the night.
