September 6, 7.5 p.m.) London, September 6. The "Daily Telegraph's" Milan correspondent states that Rumania's action has re-aroused the advocates for a separate peace at Constantinople. 'A Grand Council was called, but tho proGonnans predominated, and it was resolved to remain faithful-to tho Central Powers. The pro-Germans insisted that it ivas vital to Turkey's future destiny that they should prevent a junction of the Russians and British in Mesopotamia, and prevent the Russians in Rumania from cutting Turkey's communications with Germany. The new situation produced a panic in -Constantinople, and tho Government, to create a diversion, ordered a hunt for Armenians, twelve- being hanged. , A proclamation has been read to tho soldiers, declaring that tho Rumanians will soon be wiped out, and their country overrun with, fire and sword, while tho former principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia will bo re-annexocf by'the Ottoman Empire
