SALE OF PEDIGREE CATTLE.

One of the most important sales of Holstein-Friesians ever held in the. Dominion will take place on Wednesday, .September 6, when Air. C. A. Hopping, of lfangitikei Line, Palmerston North, will placo before the public the whole of his herd of pedigree and high milking record cows, heifers, and bulls. Special attention is drawn'to two of the bulls beiiij,' offered—King of tho Black and Whites and Doniiuion DutchJand. • The former was sired by Dominion do Kol Domino, who was sold as a yearling for 290 guineas, and his dam, Alanor Beet's .Daughter 3rd of Ashlynn, was champion butter-fat cow of * the Southern Hemisphere with a record of 15,73!)1b. milk, yielding 5U3.511b. of butterfat. .. Dominion Dutchland was imported from the. United States, and his sire Canary Paul Jj'obes Homestead claims a large number of A.U.C. daughters, and his. dam Jessie Fobcs Beets under ordinarv conditions at Wereroa produced as a three-year-old 513.051b. of butter-fat. Amongst tho young bulls included in the catalogue are Canterbury Jung of Kingsbrook, and a two-year-old, bred by J. CUigS.'of TjOiigbeacli, and also a number of young bulls by the former animal. The cows include eleven semi-official festers,, whose records range from 5021b. to 7161b. ;butter-fatv and. there are also 14 da iigli tors from tho above testedcows. Conveyances v ill meet all trains, and the salo will be conducted by Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, auctioneers. •
