An Italian official communique states:—"Wo repulsed an attack on the. Carso and shelled the railway station on tile Santa Lucia-Tolmino line, where'movements'of trains were reported. "Our aeroplanes bombarded the Reiienburg railway station, on the Gori- • zia-Tricste line with good results. "Hostile seaplanes bombed Venice and L>rado Lagoon. The damage was ' slight." Official. —"The Italians on Wednesday attacked us five times,. many ranks deep, between tho Vippacco River and Opacchisclla, We only at one poiut were obliged to fall baok after hard fighting.
