Her might is unbroken; her destiny is not yet ful. filled. Her ideals have not been shattered by her enemies. .She is more alive, more potent, greater than ever; and i-lio Dominions have a wider influence and a deeper purpose, and are more exalted.than ever." The speech aroused • extraordinary scenes ot fervour. '""Why should hot we sing at this stage? War Winds Britain, but she is not yet down, nor likely to he. Better workshops will be necessary after the war,: also moro than ever institutions exalting the .people's vision above and beyond the workshop and.the countinghouse. We "would require every national tradition to remind us that mail does not live by" bread alone."
