SUPREME COURT

BECEIVING STOLEN GOODS. James Connor, who had pleaded not guilty in the Lower Court to charges of receiving £61 worth of patent medicines and patent foods, which he knew to have been dishonestly obtained, was arraigned yesterday for trial by jury. Ho was, defended by Mr. P. J. O'Began, and Mr. V. B. Meredith prosecuted on behalf of the Crown. The jury found him guilty, and Mr. Justice Chapman deferred sentence.
