, Tho fortnightly meeting of the Society lor the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was held on Tuesday, Mr. F. Meadowcroft presiding. Inspector Henry produced copies of a circular which he is distributing to the*various police stations, cart stands, and larger stables, giving directions for feoding/ driving, and cleaning of horses, and also showing' a diagram indicating the right spot to shoot a horse.
