CITY SHORTAGES TO BE MADE UP. The Wellington Military District failed to.6end in its full quota for tho Nineteenth\Reinforcements,.the shortage being 109 men. The infantry was 97 men sliort and there-.'was also a. shortage of nine men in the Mounted Rifles. . For the first limo there was a shortage in the n.c.o's, amounting to three men. Wellington City and Suburbs-were'respon-sible for tho'greater proportion of this, being 10 men short in tho infantry draft alone. Tho local, authorities exp'ect to make up its shortages by to-morrow. Any man desiring to go into camp at. once should report at the Group Office, Buckle Street, to-day. B. C. F Rynd was sent into camp yesterday to make up tho shortage in tho City's n.c.o draft for fcho Twenty-first Reinforcements.
