WORK OF NEUTRAL COMMISSION. Tho Government recently cabled to the High Commissioner asking him to obtain \ definite information in ■ regard' to tie' statements recently made- as to the wort Of the Keutral Commission wh'ioh is ontrusted with the administration of th«' Belgian Relief. Fund moneys. The Minister of Internal Affairs states that tha High Commissioner has reported that a statement has been made by the Home i authorities favourable to tie work of the Commission. It is remarked that Viscount Grey has stated that tho interests of the lilies and Belgium could not hava been better safeguarded than by tho ar< rangoments made by the Commission, The National Committee states that con* tributions are still necessary. In view of this, Mr. Rnssell states-that he is sending out circulars to all new patriotic societies dealing with Belgian relief funds conveying the information contained in tho High Commissioner's circular.
