SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

Despite the wet weather last night Mr. Oakcy was most successful with bis concert at the Sailors' Friend Society. Mr. Okey was ably assisted by Mrs. J. Lewis, the Jtises Henderson. Dodds, Makin, Talbot, Carter, and Messrs. Walker, Smith, "Boss, and Pinch, s.s. Australia. Miss Henderson was at the piano. The competiton afforded real pleasure. Mr. ?iooie was in the chair, and he discussed six o'clock closing with, the audience. All camo to the conclusion that it would be a benefit to tho country.
