P. 8011, Sydney, coin-feed telephone. • x Tho fortnightly parado of tho Wellington Unit Railway Engineers was held on Thursday evoning, Captain Dawson, 0.C., in charge. Tho company was oxer cised in company drill, and afterwards instructed in pier-building by i Lieut. Watson. During the evening, Major Bentlcy, of Christchurch, inspected tne company, and congratulated members on tho very creditable, showing they had made. He also thanked them for their attendance and support, especially those who by their regular attendance . had been tho means of keeping the company together. At tho close of the parade a meeting of 1.5-e committee was held, and it was decided that arrangements bo inado lo hold a Tourlli concert at an early date. Shooting is now in full swing at tho miniature rifle range on Friday evenings, and members aro practising assiduously in view of matches with other units.
