WHAT IT LEADS TO.Sir,—The fun has already, begun with regard to the war profits tax and the farmers' income tax; and I think the methods of the financial wieards. in Wellington should be strongly Tesented by the farmers. What I refer to is this: The 'secretaries of co-operative dairy factories have been asked by these wizards to supply them—the wizards—with a statement of the amount of money paid to each supplier during stated periods. These secretaries are the confidential servants of the companies, and this attempt to make use of the • servants to, find out something about .their masters soSows how far German subtle cunning has permeated the everyday life of all of -ns.—l am, etc., W.
