NATIONAL RESERVE

The Commander of tho Forces, through the Defence Military Training Branch, has extended to eligible National Reserve officers the right to go up for examination for first commissions ns Territorial officers. The number of candidates which each, six-monthly sitting of the examining officers is limited to is five in each district. The Reserve will fully appreciate this concession. The Dominion Commander of the National "Reserve (Colonel Porter) has already nominated seven candidates for the August, examination—five from Wellington and tn'o from the Marlborough district.
