The local secretary of the Navy Leaguo has received the following cablegram from the general secretary, London"Families of sailors lost in the Jutland hattle require financial aid urgently. Any action you take will be deeply appreciated." The secretary of the local league answered fclio -London cablegram as follows:—"Otago branch, through High Commissioner, will send in a few days." Auckland, Juno S. The Auckland Navy League cabled to London 100 guineas emergency donation for the widows and orphans as the result of the, naval battle. The league is arranging a street collcction. Last night the Canterbury Branch ol the Navy League inaugurated a fund for tho relief ol' the dependants of sailors of the Royal Navy who lost their lives during tho war, and over was sitbj scribed to-day.
