ACCUSED ACQUITTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. ~,, „ Timaru, May 29. ihe Supremo Court was occupied all day over a charge against a young married man, tho driver of a baker's cart, who was charred with failing to account for .£64, collected for his employer. The defcnco was that the apparent shortaga whs duo to faulty bookkeeping by the employer. Tho jury took this view,- and acquitted tho accused. The Fairlio cases will be heard to-morrow.
