BILLIARDS
Those who saw the four games last liighfc at tile Alcock Billiard Diner Tournament wero treated to some very fine exhibitions.. The game between Mr. West Tucker (owes 250) and Mr. Percy Brown (o\ves 10) was particularly good, both players showing excellent form and judgment. The issue, was iivdoubt until' tiio-Jast shot, when Tucker, who was cueing, secured his win..after a "bard and keenly-fought contest. In'the other games, Cai-r (roc. ,50) beat Mills (rcc. 50); Gottlieb (rec. 100) beat Player (rcc. 75), and Diiuoek (rcc. 110) beat Fulton (rcc. 25). In this'last game the winner- was either generously handicapped, playing above his form, or else the loser was not at all up, to his usual standard. . * The best breaks made last night were: Tucker, 60, 44, 30, 30,- 29, ' 26, 24: Brown, 2G, 22, 23, 27; Dimock, 31. The next series will be got off on Monday next, when Watkins meets' De Latour; Magnus meets Longniore; Laws meets Hcinpton; M'lntosli meets Nees.
