Sir, —In tlie kindly notice of my fnrtft* coming lectures in your issue of yesterday, it is stated, quite inadvertently by. the writer thereof, that I should exhibit} views of "Neptune, Uranus, and the two Asteroids." The writer of t"n< paragraph, not being an. astronomer/ • can well be excused. No photographs of the remotest planets or of any of .ihj innumerable asteroids fit for exhibition 1 have yet been secured. But the viewi, of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, togethex with those of t-lio sun, moon, and coh* stellations, are truly beautiful, and-1 trust will be appreciated ,by the audw ence.
