ANZAC DAY AT MALTA
GRAVES ADORNED WITH FLOWERS. • By Telegraph—PreEs Association— Copyright (Rec. April 28, 9.10 p.m.) Malta, April 27. Over a hundred Auzacs were buried here in two cemeteries, and the graves' were adorned ivitli flowers and wreaths on Anzae Day. The Governor was present at the service. CELEBRATION !N HOBART. (Rec. April 23, 10.45 p.m.) Hobart, April 28. Anzac Day was celebrated with a military procession, a memorial service in the Domain, and other functions. Funds from collections and sales of goods were devoted to the Soldiers' Club. MELBOURNE CELEBRATIONS. ■ (Rec. April 28, 10.10 p.m.) Melbourne, April 28. Anzac'Day wa6 officially celebrated to-day. Great crowds witnessed the procession' of returned soldiers,. including a number of invalids in motors. There was a great gathering in the Town Hall, where the Lord Mayor entertained the soldiers. An army of lady collectors was in the streets, the • proceeds to be allocated to various funds. , Patriotic speech-making and enlisting" activity were features of the day.
