Garden the sum of £7 ss. 9d. by May 11, in default to undergo seven days' imprisonment. S. Alexander was ordered to pay Jack Jacobus the sum of £2 3s. 6d. by May 11, in default, to undergo 48 hours' imprisonment.. ..''■> Charles Koroneho was ordered to pay A. J. Hulme the. sum of £2 9s. by instalments of £1 per month. Thomas .Forsythe was ordered to pay Mrs. Jane Wilcox the sum of £4 4s. by instalments of Bs. per month.
; POLICE OASES. Only a few police .cases were on yesterday's list. A soldier, r.amed Andrew M'Coll was fined 40s. for obstructing Constable ■ Hall w.heii the latter was arresting a drunken man. In default of payment of the'fine aocused.is to go to gaol for seven days. Andrew Williamson, an old man, was convicted and discharged for drunkenness on condition that he entered the Ohiro Home. .■ ,' i - ' , Patrick William Lee, who had been arrested on a charge of helpless'drunkenness, and who had been under curative treatment in gaol, was convicted and ordered to pay 17s. 6d. expenses. Six ftrst-offendiiig inebriates were convioted and discharged.
