Wedding in Levin. > , 'i'lio wedding took place in the Meth. odisfc Church, Levin, of Mr. Neil Bluiideu, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Blundch, of Feilding, to Miss Eveline Florence Gray, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A Gray, Lovm. The church had been prettily decorated for the occasion, and the ceremony was performed by tho Rev. W. H. E. Abbey, Mrs. Nation playing the organ. The.bride wore a gown of ivory crepe do chine trimmed with shadow lace with a veil 'and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of autumn flowers and asparagus fern. She was attended by her sister, Miss Mabel Gray and two little girls, Miss Ethel Gray (sister) and Miss Esnia Shankla'nd. Tho chief bridesmaid wore embroidered frosted voile with a black tulle- hat, and the little girls v wcre in white lace frocks with , ]ace caps trimmed with ■ leaves and autumn foliage. They carried ■decorated crooks. Mr. P. Campbell was the best man. A reception < was afterwards held in Williams's tea-rooms. The bridegroom's, gift to ihe bride was a horse and rubber-tired gig.complete, anJl. to the chief bridesmaid was given ,-a gold chain and pendant. The little bridesmaids received a gold bangle each.' Old., the result of a bazaar organised by four children, Madge and Hilda Russell, Mona Nears, and Gladys Bull, was handed in to tho .Mayoress, Mrs. Luke, for the purpose of providing Concerts for the soldiers quartered in "the Lowry Bay Convalescent Homo. All four children are der twelve years of age, and this is their second effort on behalf of the soldiers. Red Cross Work. >A meeting of the Women's Red Cross Committee was held in the Red Cross Depot yesterday morning, the Mayoress, Mrs. Luke, presiding. There was a- good attendance of members.
