THE KENT EXPLOSION

Br Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. April 27, 11.30 p.m.) London, April 27. It was reported on April 4 that an accidental fire in a powder factory in Kent had caused a series- of explosions in the works. An official statement of the casualties shows that 116 men were killed and 66 were injured. No women were hurt. Some spectators who had been warned to leave, and had ample titno to do so, 'are included in the list.
