SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The attendance at the Sailors' Friend Society last night testified to the popularity of these pleasant evenings ; for the sailors. The programme was provided by Mr. AA'-. E. Fuller and party. The sailor's present entered heartily into the competitions held. At the close a vote of thanks to the performers was moved by the" Missioner (Mr. Moore), and responded to by Mr. /Sussex. Items were, contributed by Sirs. Renner, Misses Jones (2), Messrs. Boyd, Tliomson, Huelle, Ronner, Cate, Pruden, and Floteher (Opawa), Rover and Davies (Celtic Glen). Miss I. Jones and Mr. Mead were at tho piano.
