[•■ SOME OP THE RESULTS. By • Telegraph—Press Association. Woodville, April 22. The Fire (Brigade Demonstration was Bold, in) splendid weather, and there was a good attendance. In the Ladder Race a ptotest was lodged by Hastings agaiilst WaJiganui. The committee decided to run the race" over again, \Yauganui winning. , Superintendent Greathead, of EketaIrana, telegraphed donating a shield or ,cup of the value of £7 10s. The, executive decided to add it to the present prize money in the 5-men Reel and Ladder Eaco. The results were as follow:— . Coupling (two men).—Marton A, 35 l-ssec. j Carterton A, 37 S-osec.: Hastings A, 38 3-sseo.. Ladder (1 man)-.—Maeterton A, 7 L-sseo.; Wanganui, 7 3-ssec.; Napier B, 7 4-ssec. Baby Rescue (2 men).—Napier A, 24sec.; Masterton A, 24 3-sseo.; Wanganui B, 2oseo.
