Customs officers on Saturday mormug, and had instructed them to see that the imported eggs were not cleared unstamped, unless the consignment complied with the Act. ' THo Prime Minister had ,told him (Mr. Sinclair) that the Poods and Drugs Act stated that purchases'made prior to the Act being passed yrere considered as goods m'bond, and therefore if these' un- ! stamped eggs by the Moana were purchased before the Gazette notice of ' February 22 (concerning the importation of eggs) was published, they must 1 ho admitted unstamped.
