By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright
London, April 21. j Mr. Cathcart Wason, in the House of Commons, asked whether New Zealanders who may bo wounded whilst engaged on the West front must be sent to Egypt, or whether th». War , Office would reconsider the matter in view of the ample accommodation in the hospitals in the London district. There were many objections to Egypt —heat, flies, dysentery, and infected soil.
The Under-Secretary for War (Mr. H. 'J. Tennant), in reply, said ho appreciated the point raised. The whole matter was under consideration.
