Sir,—Artists are proverbially kindhearted; and ; this is my;excuse for mak<' ing an appeal : for ' the patients at Porirua Mental Hospital. I. think itvisit of a concert party, band; in fact,' an entertainment of some kind, does an enormous amount' of" good: ' As a visitor to the hospital I feel that therais not enough done to bring in a little human outside interest, ; and now of course the war has so taken possession of our horizon that such needs are lost sight of.—l am, etc., BOHEMIAN, r— .
