Easter Holidays.—On Good Friday, April, ?t, the Postal Department will be closed in all its branches. Mails for dispatch by steamers will close at 8 p.m. on the pre* vious evening, and the only dispatches of correspondence by trains will close on Good Friday as follow For the Wairarapa, Howke's Bay, Manawatu, Rangitikei, Wanganui, g and Taranaki districts at 5.45 a.m.;,for Auckland and Auckland district at 8 a.m. The city and suburban recoivera will not be cleared during the day, tout the midnight clearances will be made as usual.. Manawetu, : itangitikei, nganul, and Taranaki district® at, 5.45 a.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district, at 8 a.m. There will*be no delivery of correspondence by letter carriers in tho city or suburbs, but on Saturday, April 22, the letter carriers will make a full delivery in the city and suburbs in the afternoon, for which correspondence must be posted at Hie Chief Post Ofiko by 1.40 p.m. The Letter-carriers' Department (upstairs from Peatherston Street) will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. on Saturday for tho delivery of correspondence addressed to streets in the city and suburbs.
