Mr. A. E. WellS presided at a meeting of the Management Committee of •the Wellington ' - football Association last evening. Mr. C. li. Izard and Mr. 0. P. SkerTetfc wroto_ accepting the positions of patron and president respectively. ! A lengthy discussion took place regarding the question of playing 6enior and junior matches this season. Finally a resolution'ivas passed to the effect that no unmarried man who is eligible for enlistment 6hould play footMil under, the jurisdiction of the Wellington Football Association. If during the season, however, any player became eligible lie would not be allowed to play'unless he offered liis services. It was also resolved that only third-grade matches be played this year. It was decided that entries, for the various competitions close on May 3. On of no senior football being played this season, it was resolved that a deputation wait upon tho City Council with the object of obtaining the various City reserves at a lower rental than last year. Ttie subscription for third-grade teams' will be £!i 2s. ; -
