WHAT A CHRISTOHURCH DENTIST SATS ABOUT HIS STUDEBAKER, We have made big claims for the Stude. baker/car on the score of its reliability, its simplfEily, and the ease with whioh if can be driven. The following letter, ad-, dressed to us by Mr. R.. Cowper, surgeon, dentist, of this eitv, demonstrates tho kind of service the Slsidcbake*' will give in the hands of an owner who fes? had comparatively little driving experimiC Mr. Cowper purohased a Studebaker car freer* us on November 30th last, and bis first lengthy tour was one in the North Island during the recent Christinas and Neve Year holidays. Concerning his experi. ences on that tour, Mr. Cowper writes:— "Just a few lines to tell you how thoroughly satisfied I am with ■ my Stude. baker car. As you know, I took it away with me to the North Island, and went t'n all about 1200 miles, over all the big hills up in the north. Going from Wellington through to Napier over the Kimutakas, across to Palmerston, Wanganui, fcnd New Plymouth, and back to Wellington over the famous Paekakariki Hill, the car took all the big hills with the greatest ease, and did not give mo the 1 (lightest anxiety. All that distance it waa not touched by anyone save to give it petrol and oil, and we did not even hava to put wind into the tyres. Yon will bs surprised to hear that I brought the car over tho Zig-zag from Lyttelton io Sumner, which says something fo 4 the car and the way you taught mo to drive." The Studebaker driven by; Mr. Cowper was, of course, equipped with electrio self-starter and electric. lights. The new 1916 model Studebakers will be to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next week. The prices of the new models are i—2s h.p. five-seater (including electrio Belf-starter. electric lights, and full road equipment), 23J5; 25 h.p. three-seater (samo equipment), .£335. They are even better than the 1915 model, which has given such magnificent satisfaction to all purchasers. Adorns,' Ltd.,. N.Z.
