JOHN have combined for the purpose of rendering aid to the Sick and Wounded during the present ivar. Unlimited funds are urgently required for this purpose. Also all articles of use in Military Hospitals. Owing to the unfortunate waste causod in the past by want of central control. a central depot has been established in Mercer Street, Wellington (opposittf the Town Hall), to wliich all useful articles may be sent, and from which the wants at the front will be supplied as required by the Military Authorities. Contributions will also be made to the parent association. Work will be given out at the Depot to all ladies who are prepared to work for the great cause, in their homes. The Trustees of the Funds are: The Hon. C. J. Johnston, the Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, and Mr. Joseph Joseph ((Treasurer). All subscriptions should be paid or addressed to tho Treasurer at his Office.
