WELLINGTON BOAED MEETS.

* The, 'Wellington llnrbonr Board met last evening. Mr. C. E. Daniell presided, and titer© were present also Messrs. C. W. Jones, H. L. Nathan, J. G. Harkness, W. Cable, R. A. Wright, W. T. Hildretli, J. W. M'Ewan, J. G. Cobbe, A. M'Farlane, R. E. Sinclair, M. Cohen, and B-. Flotcher. The chairman reported that the bank pass books showed tlio credit balance of the current account to be £39,970, the credit balance of the imprest account to be £2813, and tho sum on fixed deposit to be £60,000. The payments amounted to £24,350 — accounts and wages £22,210, progress payments on contracts £1276, March salaries £863.

The chairman reported that the tender of Mr. John O'Donnell for additions to Day's Bay .wharf had been accepted.

The question of tho adaptability ofexisting sheds for the installation of electric overhead cranes was loft over till -next meeting.
