Protection of Women, A meeting of -the Society for 1 tho Protection of Women and Children Waa held yesterday afternoon, Mrs. W. I l '. Ward presiding. There wero present: Mesdames G. Ponsonby, J. R. Glasson, 1). M'Laren, A. A. Corrigan, Chatfiold, and Griffiths. A largo number of cases which had been investigated were reported upon, and others were being attended to.
